Confined to her bed, this lamp was the only Canadian view she could see. It reminded her of a jellyfish, which reminded her of the Tel Aviv seashore, a memory which brought tears to her eyes. “I AM a soap opera heroine”, she thought, surprised. All these years she thought she was over-melodramatic.
She smiled faintly, and closed her eyes.

Shalom Hadas... Just found you through Photo Friday, and stayed for a while to read your story. Very familiar, though different from mine. I'm another israeli girl who lives in Canada (Calgary, Alberta) for the last 5.5 years. If you feel like talking, use my E-mail :-)) Good luck with the move.

clusture of comments: first: As Daniel as I, the gap between us is BILTY NITPAS. Aspecialy, with all this connecting-people devices. Seckond: I see that the reminded girl could look at her self from the out side, and find her true self. Send her my regurdes! third: Gili is back, but I'm not thinking about it at all!
