Taking the goats for a walk. Israel, December 2006.
Yoav: "Alma is their leader, whatever she does, they repeat after her. The problem is she's completely mad".
Noa: "Yes", completely mad. We didn't know that at first, and set her free, only to find her at our kitchen, eating the content of my purse. She was all over the place. When we tried to get her out of the kitchen she would kick and protest and refuse to leave. Completely crazy, that goat is".
Yoav: "But those little ones, they were a real bargain. They’re gonna double their value once they give milk.” (enthusiastically) “We could sell them for double, triple the price we paid for them".
Noa: “But from the moment I laid my eyes on them I said I wasn’t going to sell them to no one. I mean: (gesturing lovingly at the kids) just look at them”.
Yoav, discouraged: “It’s true. From the moment she saw them she said she’s never going to sell them”.

These are LOVELY images. Ageless. And very Sentimental. :)
