I still haven't settled down. I'm renovating an apartment here. I doubt if there's anybody left to read this, since you all must have given up on me. I do miss publishing, though, and plan to do this once I have my own pad. And my scanner. And my books. And my sofa. and my clothes. It's been too long without them. Two more weeks to go, one more sublet - the third since we came back, 4 months ago.

A VERY important book. Autobiographical notes written by an Aryan German describing the rise of Nazism from a (seemingly) insider’s point of view. An incredible insight into the nature of us, humans, that raises countless questions. Would we resist too?
Marjane Satrapi : Persepolis : The Story of a Childhood
A wonderful autobiographical graphic novel about growing up in Iran during the Islamic revolution. Reading it was a unique experience for me.
W. G. Sebald: Austerlitz
A masterpiece.
Haven't given up on you honey! I'm just sometimes too tired to comment. But I still love your photos and your words. Looking at that empty space of your old home in Toronto made me feel a little sad...
But I love wearing the sweaters I bought from you and Uri! (I wore the orange one today. And I also miss Uri's beautiful voice).

Hello Storms. Good to hear from you. In a week and a half I'll be moving to my new home. Can you believe how long it took? And with one suitcase?? like traveling to the Far-East with a back-pack, only not. Last week it finally rained - and I had no winter clothes! (I felt like a character from a Russian novel).
