Statement

Photo Friday's challenge this week is "Statement".

During our trip to Transylvania, we ate lunch at a local farmer’s house. We sat outside. Pigs and chickens were running wild in the yard. The food was delicious and the atmosphere gay and friendly. After lunch the farmer’s wife invited me for a tour at her house. The rooms’ walls were decorated with icons and colorful tapestries with Jesus’ image embroidered into them. One room was the television’s room. The decorated television set, standing at the center of the central room of the house seemed to deliver a statement: I am the heart of this house. The significance of the television in this setting seemed almost sacred.
