Watched The American Astronaut, by far the most original movie I have ever seen. A musical western science fiction, can you imagine such a thing? Take a look at the trailer, to get a feel of the bizarre.
Found this great blog, written by a Canadian woman who (like me) lived in New York, then took the exact opposite route from mine (Canada) and immigrated to Tel Aviv, where according to her, she found her home. She lives in my neighborhood in Tel Aviv, so I could recognize many of the characters appearing in her stories. Her account of life in Tel Aviv during the second Intifada, under the title "how Lisa came to Israel" (it's divided into six istallments) is beautifully written. I lived in New York in that period of time, so it filled up a gap. It's a real page-turner, both moving and exhilarating.
Went to this comics festival to browse at books, introduce Daniel to the amazing world of comics and say hi to Matt, whose blog I've been following for a while now. But became shy, all of the sudden and didn't. Hi Matt.
